The range runs from the expected chocolate and berry ripples to local-leaning combinations built on macadamia, honey and ginger, churned in small quantities rather than bought in. Coffee comes from a small Queensland roaster, and a second outpost up the coast at Yeppoon has since followed the original. On a stretch of coast defined by beaches, surf breaks and long hot afternoons, it has become a dependable after-swim stop, its ratings across the review platforms holding high since opening. A modest, single-counter operation, but a properly independent one in a town short on them.
