Adele Macer is a self-taught potter and qualified teacher working in stoneware from an operational studio in Thornbury, throwing, hand-building and slip-casting functional kitchen and tableware in food-safe glazes. She is known for airtight ceramic butter bells that keep butter spreadable at room temperature, alongside mugs, jugs, salt cellars and oil pourers. The studio opens by appointment and runs small-group wheel-throwing, hand-building and glazing classes, plus kiln hire and teacher development.
