The Yolŋu community-controlled art centre at Yirrkala, in Northeast Arnhem Land some 700 kilometres east of Darwin. Alongside its gallery it holds the Mulka Museum and the Yirrkala Print Studio. Open six days a week, it stands as one of the great centres of Yolŋu art and cultural production, drawing visitors deep into Arnhem Land to see the museum collection, the print workshop and a living cultural archive.
