Cessiah has run her Hobart studio since 2015, hand-building hats and headpieces one at a time — vintage in feeling but cut with a modern edge, and often threaded with the flowers she keeps coming back to. She releases seasonal spring/summer and autumn/winter collections while taking bespoke commissions year-round for racing carnivals, weddings and garden parties, and she restores and upcycles older hats rather than letting them go to waste.
