Echuca LuxuryHouseboats

Moored in the heart of the historic Port of Echuca on the Murray River, this operator has built and hired self-drive houseboats since 2007. Six luxury vessels sleep eight to twelve, with full kitchens, spacious decks and, on several, rooftop spas. No boat licence is needed; guests pilot themselves along the Murray through river-red-gum country, with a dinghy, canoe or stand-up paddleboard to take ashore. The base sits on Watson Street in Echuca, on the Victorian bank across from Moama.
