Merrepen Arts

An artists' cooperative at Nauiyu, the community on the Daly River a few hours south of Darwin, known for screen-printed fabric and painting on canvas. The gallery opens on weekdays when staffing allows, and visitors planning the drive are asked to email ahead. A March 2026 flood wiped out the print workshop, which is still being rebuilt, but the gallery itself remains open — a working centre getting back on its feet rather than a polished tourist stop.
