Nambung NationalPark

오스트레일리아 코럴 해안, WA

In the coastal dunes north of Perth near Cervantes, Nambung holds the Pinnacles - thousands of weathered limestone spires rising from a desert of yellow sand, some as tall as a person, in one of the strangest and most photographed landscapes in Australia. A loop drive and walking trails thread among them, eeriest at dawn and dusk when the low sun throws long shadows across the sand. The pale pillars against the blue sky and the nearby turquoise coast make an unforgettable contrast. It is an easy day trip up the coast, and like nowhere else in the country.
