Seventy-five hectares of steep hinterland forest in the Numinbah Valley, protecting a corridor of grey gum and tallowwood woodland, hoop pine and pockets of regenerating subtropical rainforest. Tony's Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River, runs through the southern end with platypus in its shaded pools, and the reserve links to Springbrook National Park and Rosins Lookout, part of a larger chain of habitat behind the Gold Coast. A walking trail crosses the difficult terrain, best suited to experienced bushwalkers; there are no toilets and dogs aren't allowed.
