A working pottery studio in Newtown run by Darren McGinn, long enough in the trade that he also services kilns and repairs wheels for schools and private studios. Classes are flexible by design: students move between wheel and handbuilding at their own pace, never more than five or six to a teacher. Beyond the two-hour taster sit raku, glaze-making and mould-making workshops, and a shop stocking clay, tools and Venco wheels.
