Rebecca Watts has designed and laser-cut her own range from a Kingsville studio since 2013, working entirely in FSC-approved poplar plywood. Her signature pieces are miniature matchbox sceneries: three individually cut layers of a Melbourne streetscape, the Arts Centre spire, a tram, Flinders Street station, held together by a join with no glue anywhere. Greeting cards, layered fridge magnets, animal brooches and recycled-paper notebooks fill out the rest, much of it aimed at travellers and expats after a Melbourne keepsake.
