Aubrey and Nicole are the husband-and-wife team behind Winter Forged, working near Sorell in southern Tasmania. They hand-forge food-preparation knives from premium carbon steels, each blade drawn out through a deliberate forging process and each handle shaped individually and paired with locally sourced Tasmanian specialty timbers. Custom work is available, and their knives have found their way into restaurants, home kitchens and barbecue-competition rolls. An online shop rounds out the operation.
