Kalbarri Skywalk

AUSTRALIA'S CORAL COAST, WA

Two cantilevered platforms reach out beyond the rim of the Murchison River gorge in Kalbarri National Park, hanging around 100 metres above the water and the red-and-white banded sandstone the river has cut over millions of years. Opened in 2020 on Nanda country, the precinct includes interpretive areas, shaded shelters and a cafe, with sweeping views down the inland gorge system. Standard national park entry fees apply. An easy, sealed approach makes one of the West's great gorge lookouts accessible to almost everyone.
