The name started as a joke — MATES stood for Mystery Adventure Tours and Experiences, invented for a surprise weekend away. Now it's a cellar door on Inverloch Road pouring four award-winning gins, including a citrus-and-pepper Zesty and a strawberry-forward summer pour. Over half the profits go to charity annually. Friday happy hour runs 5–7pm.
