A cool-climate garden in the apple country of Bilpin, in the Blue Mountains, opened to visitors through spring and autumn. A small nursery sells plants propagated from the garden along with natives and seasonal colour, while the gift shop carries ornaments and homewares and the tearoom pours coffee over scones, cake and homemade apple pie. Dogs on leads are welcome, and you're free to bring a picnic.
