Tambo runs a biennial art prize that draws entries from three states and a judge from Bundaberg, then hangs the results on forty metres of wall in a purpose-built gallery on Arthur Street. The façade references a shop that stood on the site. Between prizes the Tambo Arts Council programmes touring and regional shows. Free, weekdays only. Nothing comparable between Longreach and Roma.
