Owned by the Jawoyn people through the Jawoyn Association, this operator runs the water and skies of Nitmiluk Gorge outside Katherine. Flat-bottomed cruises thread the sandstone gorges, one, two or three of them, plus sunset dinner runs, while multi-day canoe trips and scenic helicopter flights reach country the boats can't. Walks and cultural experiences round out a base that also offers lodge rooms, cabins and camping. Profits feed back into the Jawoyn community, roughly a twenty-minute drive from Katherine in the Northern Territory.
