Based on the Murray at Pyap, just upstream of Loxton in the South Australian Riverland, this is a small, personal operation built around a single houseboat, the Kiwi-Oz. Owned and run by the Barry family, the eight-berth boat is set up for family holidays with the comforts of home and is easy to handle even when the river runs fast. From the water you can reach the Loxton Historical Village and the historic Overland Corner Hotel, and canoes can be arranged for quieter exploring. Guests return for the friendly service and the slow, unhurried stretch of river.
