Traditional Iron is a hand-forge in Brisbane turning out bespoke blades alongside its architectural ironwork. The knives are drawn from high-carbon and tool steels, 5160, 1084, L6, 52100, and pattern-welded Damascus running from a few dozen layers into the hundreds, with blades differentially heat treated and convex ground. The range is broad: drop-point hunters and upswept skinners, Bowies, rustic folders, kitchen knives, axes and the occasional railway-spike conversion. Handles are fitted in Australian hardwoods, mulga, stag and antler, dressed with brass guards and furniture.
