Sheltered by Morton National Park, less than ten minutes from Hampden Bridge and the Kangaroo Valley village, this single A-frame cabin sits between the South Coast and the Southern Highlands, about two hours from Sydney. Designed by Ben Gray Architect and Sophie Lord Studio, it is built from recycled materials, repurposed telegraph poles and 150-year-old terracotta tiles, with a pared-back, minimalist interior. A Nectre woodfire warms the space, a hot tub sits open to the stars, and a 90,000-litre tank collects rainwater across the escarpment-and-waterfall outlook.
