Owner-chef Howard Stamp came to Barkly Street by way of Movida, The Lincoln and Le Bon Ton, and runs Bar Thyme as a neighbourhood bistro with a menu that changes weekly. The cooking leans French, the bread is baked daily, and the wine list sticks to natural bottles from small organic and biodynamic growers. Records play on request, and vintage menus from 1972 London hang on the walls.
