Between the quiet water of Swan Bay and the open sweep of Port Phillip, this reserve south of St Leonards protects the last remaining stand of coastal woodland on the Bellarine Peninsula. Salt marsh communities and remote beaches provide habitat for resident and migratory wader birds — the shoreline sits on an international flyway and carries Ramsar recognition. Walking trails lead through the woodland to the Two Bays Lookout, with outlooks across both waters. Dogs are not permitted anywhere in the reserve.
