Forge+ is a dedicated knifemaking workshop in the Huon Valley, its forge looking out over the Huon River in Tasmania's south. Alongside its own handmade custom knives, it runs hands-on courses for all levels in which participants forge a blade of their own over two days. The making is unhurried and place-rooted, the welcome session held at a local wine bar over Tasmanian beverages before the fire is lit — a small operation grounded in its valley.
