Ten minutes from central Bendigo, this Mandurang nursery specialises in plants indigenous to central and northern Victoria, alongside a wider range of Australian natives running from tube stock to advanced potted specimens. Stock includes hard-to-find and rare or endangered species, and a selection of edible natives grown as bush food. Beyond the plants, the retail shop carries native flora and fauna guides, nest boxes, seeds and garden decor, with bee and butterfly hotels among the newer additions. The site is wheelchair and pram accessible, with garden beds visitors are free to wander, and staff who can talk through garden design, attracting birds and pollinators, or restoring a bushland block. It began as a revegetation and land-rehabilitation supplier and still does that work, but the Mandurang site has grown into a genuine retail destination for home gardeners as much as landholders. Open seven days, with the display said to be best in spring though something is usually in flower year-round.
