A vegetarian and vegan Chinese restaurant drawing on the traditions of Buddhist vegetarian cooking, recreating familiar Chinese flavours with vegetables, tofu and mock meats. The kitchen has been serving plant-based Chinese cuisine since 2013, when it opened its original restaurant on Swanston Street in the Melbourne CBD; this High Street site in Preston is its second venue. The menu covers a wide range of Chinese classics reworked as fully plant-based dishes.
