Know before you go. Tracks are still closed in places after Tropical Cyclone Alfred, including sections of the Illinbah and Coomera circuits — check the park alerts before you plan a walk. The road up to Green Mountains is 36km of narrow, winding bitumen from Canungra and takes at least 50 minutes; it is not suitable for RVs over 6m or anything towing a caravan or camper trailer. The Border Track links Green Mountains and Binna Burra and most other walks branch off it. Remote bush camps are only open 1 February to 30 November.

래밍턴은 유곤배 컨트리의 맥퍼슨 산맥에 걸쳐 약 21,000헥타르에 달하며, 인접한 스프링브룩과 함께 유네스코 곤드와나 열대우림 세계유산지역의 일부입니다. 공원은 두 개의 주요 방문자 구간인 그린 마운틴과 빈나 부라로 나뉘며, 각각 골드코스트 내륙의 다른 지점에서 별도의 도로로 접근하며 공원 내부에는 차량 통행로가 없습니다. 국경 트랙은 맥퍼슨 산맥을 따라 두 지역을 연결하는 21킬로미터 산책로입니다. 공원은 퀸즐랜드에서 가장 큰 남극 너도밤나무(노토파거스 무어레이) 군락을 보유하고 있으며, 2,000년 이상 된 것으로 추정되는 개체들도 있고 아열대 우림, 섭정 앵무새, 앨버트 라이어버드, 그리고 1937년부터 유명한 버나드 오라일리가 스틴슨 비행기 승객을 구조한 현장이 있습니다. 역사적인 빈나 부라 롯지는 2019년 산불로 파괴되었으며 이후 재건 중입니다.
