In the foothills of Mount Mandurana at The Leap, ten minutes north of Mackay, a certified organic grocer built from recycled timber and corrugated iron and set among permaculture gardens and native bush. The shelves cover certified organic fresh food, wholefoods, bulk pantry goods, snacks, body and home care, and eco gifts, while a garden teahouse on the verandah pours organic coffee and tea with cakes and pastries over the tropical gardens. Home delivery runs out to Moranbah, Airlie Beach, Proserpine and Bowen. The business is working toward climate-action certification with Ecotourism Australia, and operates as an independent single site rather than a health-food chain.
