Rebecca Bullen came north from Melbourne's Cohen Cellars to open Darwin's first proper wine bar, in a heritage-listed stone shophouse on Cavenagh Street. The building began as an opium den, took bullet holes in the wartime air raids, had an unexploded bomb in its back garden and lost its roof to Cyclone Tracy, and the distressed walls still carry that history. The list runs from new-wave Australian producers to old-world icons, with charcuterie and cheese alongside.
