Russell Willis started this one-man walking operation in Kakadu and the Kimberley in 1986, and it has become one of northern Australia's most experienced bushwalking outfits. The trips are true walking holidays into wilderness where no vehicle can go, threading multi-day treks through the Top End, the Red Centre, the Kimberley and the Pilbara, with days that mix swimming in natural pools and time spent among Aboriginal rock art. A minimal-impact strategy shapes how the walks are run, and the small groups trek off-track through country most visitors never reach.
