Occupying a former church on the corner of Liverpool Street and Mortlock Terrace, a building dating to 1908, this Port Lincoln shop has traded since 2003 and moved into its landmark premises in 2005. Beneath the high ceilings it stocks a rotating mix of homewares, gifts and women's fashion, plus accessories and children's clothing, the sort of considered general store a coastal town leans on for a present or a little interior refreshment. It is independently owned and long-running, a contrast to the chain retail that dominates most regional main streets. The heritage setting does much of the work, and the buying does the rest.
