A Mediterranean restaurant in Dulwich Hill, cooking over specially selected charcoal and smoking barks for a fire-cooked style the kitchen takes its name from — the Eate, a fire god of the ancient Basque times. Lamb comes off the spit, alongside yiros, charcoal chicken and mezze.
Ingredients are sourced through farmers and growers for seasonal fruit and vegetables, along with lamb, beef, chicken and seafood from the fish markets. Everything is made in-house, including the signature pickled vegetables that run through the menu. The bar is fully licensed. Open seven days.
