About two hours west of Melbourne, near Warrenmang in the Pyrenees, this off-grid Unyoked cabin sits high on a steep range with views over state forest on one side and a vineyard on the other. It's a proper hike in, around 800 metres, to a heated cabin with some reception and plenty of quiet; dogs are welcome. Campfires pause through the region's fire-danger season from November to May.
