Deep in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, close to the Great Central Road that crosses the Western Desert, this wholly Indigenous-owned and governed centre works with painters from the Warakurna, Wanarn and Patjarr communities. The work is contemporary Western Desert painting, made to keep Ngaanyatjarra culture and Tjukurrpa strong, and the centre supports artists at every stage, from first-timers to established names.
