A 19th-century pub a block from Kardinia Park, and Geelong's long-standing home of original live music — "the BC" to locals. The back lounge is a real 300-capacity band room with its own stage and PA, running ticketed gigs most weeks: local bills, touring acts, the odd international name, and its own Drencher festival. Out front it's a proper pub — front bar, beer garden, a kitchen open seven days, footy on the screens. Beers, bands and bistro, owner-run since the rock years.
