Bergy Bandroom

A Brunswick dive bar and bandroom on Sydney Road, opened in 2019 by Frankie Cudmore and Brodie Breumer after the Brunswick Hotel — where they'd worked a decade — flooded and closed. The name is the crackle a melting glacier makes. Live music and free comedy run seven nights, weighted toward emerging acts, with a 250-capacity bandroom next door for mid-size bands between the back-bar stage and the big halls. Fake-turf beer garden, housemade pies.
