An Aboriginal-owned art centre in Alice Springs and the home of the Namatjira watercolour painters — Western Aranda artists working in the Hermannsburg School tradition that Albert Namatjira began in the 1930s and passed down through his family. Established in 2004 by the Ngurratjuta/Pmara Ntjarra Aboriginal Corporation, it returns as much of each sale as possible to the artist. Painters work on site Monday to Thursday, and the gallery, hung with desert watercolour landscapes, is open weekdays.
