Nagula Jarndu

A Yawuru women's art centre in Broome, on Gregory Street, making hand-printed textiles and homewares drawn from the saltwater Country around town. The gallery is open on weekdays for viewing and sales, an easy stop in a town most Kimberley travellers pass through anyway. Screens, dye and design work happen on site, so what's on the walls and shelves is made where it's sold — a small, warm counterpoint to Broome's pearling-town tourist strip.
