Harry Friend planted the first vines in 1980 on what had been his parents' dairy farm. Today, son Axel shares winemaking duties with him — a rare father-son arrangement that has yielded a Halliday 5 Red Star rating and a Michelin Trophy for a Reserve Chardonnay. The range runs from lyre-trellised chardonnay and pinot noir to late-harvest viognier, with a restaurant alongside the cellar door.
