Newcastle ComedyClub

Newcastle's first and only dedicated comedy club, founded in 2021 by a trio including two working comedians, and since January 2026 in its own red-curtained room inside the Islington Barracks in Islington. Five nights of stand-up a week — weekend showcases, touring headliners, free Tuesday open mics, improv classes — in a deliberately intimate 110-seat room. Wil Anderson and Tom Gleeson both played two-week residencies in 2025. Chipped tables, warm light, dinner and a show.
