John and Leigh Dobson opened this Launceston studio in 2019 with a clear brief: make art accessible to beginners. Wheel pottery, clay handbuilding, paint-and-sip sessions and school holiday programs fill the calendar. The community reach is real — partnerships with Able Australia, Wellways and Anglicare have put clay in the hands of people who might never otherwise have touched it.
