Founded in Marrickville by Van (first-generation Chinese-Australian) and Jamie (raised in Indonesia), SSWEATSHOP draws on family experience in overseas manufacturing to make the opposite argument: screen printing, digital hybrid printing and embroidery, done locally, with workers paid above award wage. Water-based inks, compostable bags, monthly donations to Greening Australia. The provocation is the point.
