The only contemporary, experimental art space in Central Australia, Watch This Space is an artist-run initiative founded in Mparntwe/Alice Springs in 1993 and governed by its members and a volunteer board. A small team programs a gallery and on-site studios, splitting exhibitions roughly evenly between Territory artists and visitors from interstate and abroad, alongside residencies, talks and the annual Lofty Art Award named for co-founder Pam Lofts. Open Wednesday to Saturday during exhibition periods, at 8 Gap Road.
