On the edge of the historic gold town of Beechworth in Victoria's north-east, this working farm backs onto Stanley Forest and sits two kilometres of quiet dirt road from the Murray to the Mountains rail trail. It's set up for cyclists, with lock-up bike storage and trail maps on hand, and dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The high-country hills, cellar doors and Beechworth's heritage streetscape are all close by.
