Built in 1909 as the first concrete building in Waratah, put up for its licensees by Boags Brewery and named for the tin mine that made the town. Fifteen rooms upstairs, five with en-suites, the rest sharing bathrooms down the hall. Philosopher's Bar looks out at the waterfall and pours Tasmanian whisky and gin alongside a brown ale Buttons Brewing makes only for the pub. The hotel keeps a running list of every licensee since 1909, assembled out of Trove. Not suitable for under-15s.
