A few steps back from the beach, this Beach Street kitchen has been serving Thai food to Woolgoolga since 2018, more recently under a new name but with the same cook, Aey, at the helm. The menu runs through the familiar canon done properly, from pad thai and cashew chicken to a fragrant green curry, with vegan and gluten-free versions worked in rather than tacked on. It is set up as much for a relaxed dinner in as for takeaway carried back to a holiday flat, and portions tend to be generous. Evening service makes it a straightforward choice after a day by the water. There is no pretension to it: a family-run neighbourhood Thai place that has quietly built a following on consistency rather than hype, which is exactly what you want when you are hungry and would rather not drive into Coffs.
