A two-screen art-deco cinema on Sawtell's fig-tree-lined First Avenue, in the seaside heart of the Coffs Coast. Born in 1941 and run by the Brissett family for three generations, it was saved from closure in 2014 by a local alliance of patrons and reopened, community-owned, in 2015. It screens art-house and foreign films alongside the latest mainstream and family titles — a genuine village institution.
