The Warren family took over this Capalaba landscape yard in 2006 and built a proper garden centre alongside a trade side of the business that has been supplying sand, soil and pavers to the Redlands since 1980. Each spring the rose beds are the drawcard: new-release and old-fashioned varieties grown from a passion for roses passed down through the family, and they routinely sell out within weeks of arriving — enough of a local event that the Redland City Bulletin has covered it. The rest of the nursery runs to fruit trees, native plants, ornamentals and succulents, with shade houses for indoor plants and a separate line in pots, statues and water features for finishing a garden off. It is a working yard as much as a shop — trailers and trade accounts sit alongside the retail side — but the plant range and the rose specialty have earned it a local following distinct from the bulk-supply trade. Open seven days, from 6.30am on weekdays. A stop for Redlands gardeners after more than mulch.
