Dooley's has been a Great Ocean Road institution since 2000, when it opened in Apollo Bay with a straightforward mission: make premium ice cream from the best ingredients and let the coast come to it. Two decades and a wall of awards later, the formula hasn't changed. It's all made in-house, with more than forty flavours in the cabinet on any given day, scooped into cones, stacked into sundaes or blitzed into thick shakes. The loyal following it built in Apollo Bay carried it to a second shop in Torquay in 2024, bracketing the touring route at both ends.
