Four generations of one Cocos Malay family have run this Haldon Street café since 1996, cooking the food of Australia's Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands, which Sydney Weekender reckons no one else in the city serves. Alimah Bilda makes ayam panggang to her grandmother's recipe. Sydney's Malaysians point people here for the charcoal-grilled satay and its house-made peanut sauce. Traditional kuih-muih comes out on weekends.
