Hilary Tillin came to silversmithing in 2009 after a career in IT, trained formally at Brisbane's Goldsmiths School, and now works from a home studio in Stanthorpe. She makes contemporary sterling silver jewellery and her own lampwork glass beads, with recent work translating her response to the Granite Belt landscape into wearable pieces. Alongside the making she runs small hands-on workshops, from couples' ring making to lampwork bead classes. She was a 2024 Stanthorpe Art Prize finalist.
