What sets the place apart is its bent toward community over commerce, the room hosting art hangs, study sessions and gatherings as readily as it serves coffee. Plant-based eating here feels rooted in something older than trend, a stated ethic that animals are family, not food, expressed through unhurried, home-style cooking rather than mock-meat theatrics.
